The position is based in Sturgeon Bay, WI in a recently renovated office space. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Established in 1949, Roen Salvage is a marine construction company based in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin that provides high-quality services to government, municipal, and private entities located throughout the Great Lakes. Our services include dredging, pile driving, stone breakwaters, submarine pipelines, offshore structures, dock construction, marina construction, marine demolition, marine concrete, hydrographic surveying, and more. We employ some of the Great Lakes’ most talented marine professionals, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism. There are 7-8 of us in the office and 30-36 on the construction crew.

Duties to include but not limited to:
- Calculate and process weekly payroll
- Receive and respond to pay related inquires
- Process vendor invoicing via company software for payment processing
- Print and mail checks for approved payments
- Facilitate customer invoicing and collections
- Maintain office forms and procedures
- General administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and general errands
- Assisting office staff in a variety of projects
- Cross-training to support Office Manager including payroll taxes, tax reconciliation, and accounts payable forms
Benefits Include:

Qualifications:
- Accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and payroll processing experience is a plus but not required
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening
- People oriented
- Computer savvy or able to learn computer functions
