DREDGING

Roen Salvage performs mechanical dredging utilizing cranes and excavators. Dredge material is loaded onto barges and transported by water to offloading sites. The offloading site might be a confined disposal facility, a treatment facility or simply a transfer dock where the material is loaded into trucks for hauling to another location. We have mechanically dredged and disposed of material on projects ranging from 50 cubic yards to 250,000 cubic yards. The dredge is positioned by submeter GPS technology and hydrographic surveys are computer generated utlizing digital fathometers (see hydrographic surveys).
